I would like to dedicate this newsletter in honour of Debbie Ford
who left this physical earth to rise up and be with the angels.
She was and is a true inspiration to me.
Debbie began her healing path by seeking answers in order to
heal her own addiction.
She understood that there was a mind, body spirit connection.
Her studies helped her to heal and find the joy back in her life.
Then Debbie decided that she needed to share this with the world
and she truly did.
She devoted herself to teaching and sharing her own
powerful process of healing
to help others to transform their lives.
We can all benefit from her example.
Debbie did groundbreaking work around the Human “Shadow”
fully clarified in her book
“The Dark Side of the Light Chasers”
I personally did this work many years ago.
It transformed me.
Accepting and loving all aspects of ourselves
is sometimes the hardest thing to do,
especially when someone in our life has been telling us for years
that we are stupid or stubborn or selfish and made us wrong for it.
In her book Debbie taught us to find an aspect of ourselves
that we don’t like.
Then give that aspect a name. Naming it makes it fun!
So if I access my stupid self and I call it
“Simply Stupid.”
Doesn’t it make you laugh?
It breaks the tension which breaks the judgement of it.
Then taking it further.
What can possibly be positive about being stupid?
Sometimes when we don’t have any preconceived thoughts about a situation we go in without fear.
Looking back on it, I see that others would never have
had the courage to do what I did
because they knew too much and based their decision on the rules
or what they thought they knew. It actually held them back from something wonderful.
So isn’t that a good reason to embrace my stupid self!
So you can see how you begin to embrace all that you are and it becomes managed by the adult you.
Once you own it and love it, you become the parent of all your aspects.
It truly transforms you. It’s brilliant.
Blending all the aspects of ourselves into
self acceptance and wholeness.
Blending those aspects that we call positive
and those that we call negative.
The only thing that stops us from being our God Given self is fear.
Fear keeps us numb and barely breathing.
It’s all about awareness and having a relationship with ourselves.
We become the parent of our inner child.
Throughout the course of our life’s challenges we develop a quiet wisdom and our light begins to shine through us giving depth to everything we create so that it touches and elevates
the lives of those around us and beyond.
We inspire others to persevere in their your own quest to achieve their dreams and make the most of their time here on earth.
Thank you Debbie for inspiring me to live my dreams
and love all the aspects of myself!
For this I am truly grateful!
